Glossop Volunteer Recruitment Event

Like to find out a little more about volunteering with Willow Wood? Tesco in Glossop is very kindly allowing us to hold a pop-up volunteering event on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 August just outside the store entrance.

Tracy Ashton, manager of the Willow Wood Glossop shop will be there together with a number of existing volunteers, so you’ll be able to chat to those already enjoying their roles and get first-hand information on the variety of opportunities available. As Tracy said: “It’s a great way to find out just what our volunteers do – and how much they enjoy themselves doing it! Volunteering at your local Willow Wood shop directly helps our patients by raising funds to provide care, but can also give volunteers a new lease of life. They can learn new skills and gain valuable work experience at the same time as making real friendships with those of a similar mind-set.”

“Just call down between 10am to 3pm (weather permitting!) for a chat. We’d love to see you.”
