Corporate volunteering is a valuable opportunity for both Willow Wood Hospice and your staff. At Willow Wood, we believe that corporate volunteering offers five key benefits: increased employee motivation, a positive impact on the local community, enhanced employee skills and self-confidence, improved team building and communication, and support and delivery of CSR objectives. Additionally, volunteering with a beloved local charity such as Willow Wood can help raise your company’s profile and demonstrate your commitment to corporate social responsibility.

While the pandemic has impacted corporate volunteering, we are now able to offer opportunities in our gardens for groups of up to 20, and groups of up to 8 or 15 to support our work in our shops and distribution center, respectively. There are also opportunities available in our fundraising department.

Having a team of enthusiastic corporate volunteers in these areas helps us immensely. They can accomplish in one day what our volunteers would take weeks to achieve, and they can easily see the tangible impact they have made on our patients, their families, and our organization.
